RP2 is a gene-break transposon system composed of a protein-trap cassette with a mRFP1 reporter (specifically *mRFP1, which is mRFP1 with the start codon removed) and transcriptional stop, and a 3' exon-trap cassette with a GFP reporter. Flanking loxP sites allow reversion with Cre recombinase, excising the protein- and 3' exon-trap.
